Since 1992, SIF309 Film & Music Productions has established itself internationally as one of the leading production service companies in the realm of original film music score recording. Following an enterprise of Prof. Viktor Chouchkov, the company together with its orchestra - The Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra - SIF309, had been a successful partner in the realization of over 400 music productions from all over the world.
SIF309, headed by Borislav Chouchkov, Elena Chouchkova and Viktor Chouchkov Jr., is organized in 2 main divisions - Music Productions Services department, and Film and Video Production Services department. The offices of both departments are situated in the center of Sofia, and the internal staff is divided in 3 areas - production service personnel for music productions, accounting and office management, and film and video production service personnel being hired for the special demands and needs of any production.
The Music Recording department provides a full range of logistical and organizational support for original music score recording. The biggest asset of the department is the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, which has proven its high professional level working with worldwide recognized companies and composers. The recordings are being executed in Studio 1 of the Bulgarian National Radio, unique in the Balkan region with its acoustics and technical equipment.
For the 2 years of its existence, the Film and Video Production Service department has produced, organized and carried out the shooting of a number of music videos for Bulgarian pop-artists, as well as for a couple of TV and feature film productions for companies such as Spanish CARTEL, the Italian Film Daedalus, the French Boreales and the Brazilian Sao Paulo ImagemData.
SIF309 Film&Music Productions in association with Camera Ltd provides film and video production services, an association which has brought up the service to a higher level and has broadened contacts with clients, as well as with companies that provide additional services for film shooting to practically all areas of technical facilities and crews. The association proposes full range of film production services such as executive producers, line production units, location teams, casting teams, equipment rental, studios, other post-production facilities, co-production, etc.
Another type of service SIF 309 Film and Music Productions provides is recording music for radio and TV commercials. Through our wide range of contacts and long-term experience in the field we can put our clients in touch with music composers, and respectively execute the music recording service.
In the beginning of 2003 SIF309 Film&Music Productions established a Script Development department to search and develop film concepts. The company´s objective in the next years is to create a Production department to produce movies for Bulgarian TV channels and to co-produce feature films for the domestic and international markets.
